Milky Way Quilt Top / Finished

Milky Way Quilt Top
64" X 80"

Made from scraps
I am finally finished sewing the Milky Way Quilt Top.  I added an orange border; rather then the beige one the pattern shows.  I also plan to make the binding of this quilt using the same orange.  I think it will make for a great Halloween Quilt.  I can just see pumpkins and gourds displayed around this quilt.  I do hope to have it completely finished by Halloween; quilting and all.  I enjoyed sewing this quilt top together.  It requires some paying attention to the pattern.  But, I think it turned out well.

  9. Your choice of orange for the border is perfect. It really picks up the colors in the rest of the quilt. A matching orange binding will be just the right finishing touch for a beautiful quilt!
